U.S. jets could patrol Vancouver during Olympics: Norad

CALGARY – American fighter jets will be involved in security operations during the Vancouver Olympics by keeping a close eye on airspace in the region, the head of the North American Aerospace Defence Command said Saturday. more

This is a typical propaganda piece. Note that the title of the article says “could” and the first paragraph says “will”. The American military will be overtly flying our skies during the olympic boondoggle. Its not like they aren’t overhead all the time filling the air with their chemtrail toxins, but incredibly most on the ground don’t even notice that.

Speculation is rife that Obama is just another corporate puppet, however there is a new twist to that theory. Today it was announced that Friend of Bilderberg, James Johnson was released from his duties on Obama’s running mate selection committee. The reason given was his shenanigans related to preferential mortgage treatment from Countrywide Financial, but I have a feeling that Obama is his own man and it may go deeper than that.

Hopefully the final selection of his running mate will bear this out by not being a Bilderberger preselect.

Hillary got caught lying about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia and is now comparing herself to Rocky Balboa. That’s funny. Rocky was a punchy, too old to fight white guy who lost the big fight to a black man.

Hillary could do with some new advisors, but as her campaign is broke she is stuck with what she has.

You couldn’t make this stuff up.  Just more proof of the old saying that military intelligence is an oxymoron. Be sure to read the entire story. They’re trying to pin the blame on the prisoner’s lawyers.

From the Guardian: – Guards at the Guantanamo Bay prison camp found two prisoners sporting unauthorized underwear, and the U.S. military is investigating to determine how they got the contraband.

Both prisoners were caught wearing Under Armour briefs and one also had on a Speedo bathing suit, items the military said were not issued by Guantanamo personnel or sent through the regular mail, according to a Defense Department letter obtained Friday by The Associated Press. …

I’m sure the poor sods being tortured over in America’s gulag would rather have a cutting torch or even a file rather than a pair of tacky underwear.

Was this story reported by any of the American “news”, or are they still too busy bilging on about Britney’s latest meltdown or Paris finding God.

They won’t take NO for an answer. The American navy plans to start using a sonar system so powerful it can harm whales and other ocean life 300 miles away with its ear-splitting noise.

Five years ago, NRDC won a courtroom victory blocking global deployment of this dangerous sonar system just as the Navy was about to launch operations. Since then, the Navy’s training with LFA sonar has been limited to one remote area.

Now the Navy is back with the same reckless proposal for world-wide testing and training. And, shockingly, the National Marine Fisheries Service is once again giving the Navy a permit to harass or injure hundreds of thousands of marine mammals each year that get in the way of its sonar. (more…)

Are the Canadians any different than the Brits or the Yanks?

In a village damaged by a British attack on the night of 7 October, some people were too angry to talk to me because I was British.

One merely pointed to the torn and bloody women’s clothing left in the ruins of the house and said bitterly, “Are these the kind of houses they have come to build – the kind where clothing is cut to pieces?”.

Nato sources describe this village as being heavily defended by the Taleban, who fired on their forces throughout the operation.

British soldiers landed in helicopters, arrested a suspect and flew away.

But they left six dead in one family, including three young girls, and partially demolished the mosque.

Thousands of people have fled the fighting, many seeking refuge in Kandahar city, where they are putting severe pressure on the ability of the UN’s World Food Programme to help.

They fear for the homes and farms they have left behind, and while not active Taleban supporters, it is clear that most blame Nato more for the worsening violence.
